TOP 5 Celebrities Who Will Never Die

PopEater came up with a list of the top five celebrities who have potential to become legends from beyond the grave. These top five were hand-picked by using three criteria

1. Will the average consumer know who he/she is 10 to 20 years from now?
2. Does he/she have a cross-demographic, cross-generational appeal?
3. Will what the celebrity was known for be relevant at the time their image is used?

Based on that this is who they picked,

1. George Clooney
2. Madonna
3. Bono
4. Oprah Winfrey
5. Johnny Depp.

Now I can’t say I personally agree with all of their choices. In fact I flat our don’t. I can think of a few more people I would rather see on that list. One person who comes to mind is Al Pacino. He is a great actor and is “Tony Montana” character is still very relevant on todays youth. I guess the only reason he’s not in the top 5 is probably because he’s too old- too bad.

One thing I can agree on is the top 5 quickly forgotten list. It basically is a list of celebs who are fast-food fame products who rose to the top fast but will fall hard once they have died. Among those without hope beyond the grave are; Britney Spears, Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Colin Farrell, and Lady Gaga.
