Nick Lachey Confirms He’s Back with Vanessa

Here they go again!

This morning on Good Day Philadelphia, Nick Lachey confirmed that he’s back on with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, saying, “I was single for a minute there, and then we’ve kind of patched things up there.”

This “news” comes as no surprise to Star readers though! In our Oct. 12 issue, we reported that the couple had reunited after their June split — but their relationship has gone through some changes. The biggest is that the onetime host of MTV’s Total Request Live is refusing to move in with Nick again because she fears that he may never get around to making their union official — and she really wants a ring!

“She never stopped loving him when they were apart,” a friend of Vanessa’s told Star, “but she doesn’t want to waste time if he has no interest in marrying her.”
