We all know by now the rumors that Penelope Cruz is pregnant have been thrown out the window. Now the latest gossip on the street is that Penelop Cruz and Javier Bardem are engaged?

Holding her Blackberry, seen leaving her hotel in Manhattan, New York City the paparazzi did their jobs by trying to hound Penelope for answers.

According to several online reports, Cruz and Bardem, are engaged. Cruz’s rep had no comment and Bardem’s rep said,

“I really don’t know, but would not be able to say anything even if I did.”

It’s difficult to get anything out of this couple. Remember the first time they met and kept a low profile during their two-year romance? They did not walk red carpets together and kept a low profile from the media for a long time before they decided to announce the news they were together.

I would love to see these two get married. I think Javier is a great man and he would make a great husband. Penelope is beautiful and the two of them would have beautiful children together. I can’t wait to see what will happen next.
