Adam Lambert and QUEEN?

“American Idol” finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen performed with the legendary band Queen during the show’s finale on May 20. But it was Lambert who caught Queen’s eye one band member told Rolling Stone magazine they were hoping to have a “meaningful conversation” with the young singer.

Queen hasn’t had a permanent lead vocalist since the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991. I personally was thinking this exact same thing when I was watching the show, I thought to myself I could see Adam being the lead singer of Queen. He’s gay, he has the “out factor” like Mercury and He will honestly fit in.

I personally wouldn’t have a problem with it, but I don’t know how the die hard fans of Freddie would react.
